The home owner for this new house was not daunted by the steeply sloping narrow lake front lot. Rather, she enjoyed the fact that zoning requirements forced her to build “up” rather than out as she always wanted a commanding view of the lake. The new house includes a walkout basement, main living on the first floor, and the master bedroom enjoying the best view up high on the second floor. Glass was used sparingly on the other three facades but was splurged on the lakeside to take advantage of gorgeous lake views.
